Yeaster - Software for estimation of quantitative characteristics of yeast colonies

Description

The package contains demo application of preprocessing of images of Petri dishes containing yeast colonies. The application determines relative coverage of the dish, and estimates the number of colonies. The stand alone win32 based application requires OpenCV libraries. The algorithms used in this application are described in the included documentation. The output of the application is the image with markings of the yeast colonies and the basic statistics estimated regarding to yeast colonies detection.
